XtraClubs Marrickville Thrive Competition 2026 Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter
The promoter is Xtra Wellness Pty Ltd (ACN 667 066 659) trading as XtraClubs (“XtraClubs”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
2. Competition Type
This promotion is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
3. Promotional Period
The competition opens at 1am AEST on 29 July 2026 and closes at 5pm AEST on 15 October 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be considered.
4. Eligibility
Entry is open to individuals who:
a) are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry;
b) are residents of New South Wales; and
c) submit a valid entry during the Promotional Period.
As the prize is redeemed in person at XtraClubs Marrickville, entry is restricted to residents of New South Wales who are reasonably able to attend that location to use the prize.
The following persons are not eligible to enter:
- Directors, officers, employees and contractors of XtraClubs;
- Immediate family members of any director, officer, employee or contractor of XtraClubs; and
- Any person involved in the administration or judging of the competition.
Immediate family includes spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, sibling or grandparent.
5. How to Enter
To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Promotional Period:
a) complete the entry form at https://checkout.xtraclubs.au/register-interest?campaign=69b88b578992ddfbb4dcb71e, providing their full name, email address and contact telephone number; and
b) answer the following question in 20 words or less:
“In 20 words or less, tell us why you desperately need unlimited sauna, ice bath and steam.”
Only one entry per person will be accepted unless otherwise approved by XtraClubs.
Incomplete, illegible, misleading or fraudulent entries may be deemed invalid.
Entries must be the entrant’s own original work and must not be unlawful, offensive, defamatory or infringe the rights of any third party.
6. Judging Criteria
This is a game of skill.
Entries will be judged by the founders of XtraClubs based on:
- Creativity (40%)
- Originality (30%)
- Persuasiveness (30%)
The entry that, in the opinion of the judging panel, best satisfies the judging criteria will be selected as the winner.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. Prize
There will be one (1) winner.
The winner will receive:
One (1) twelve-month membership providing unlimited access to the sauna, ice bath and steam facilities at XtraClubs Marrickville.
The prize:
- Is not transferable;
- Is not redeemable for cash;
- Cannot be exchanged for another product or service;
- Must be used by the winner personally; and
- Is subject to the standard membership terms, opening hours, facility availability and health, safety and conduct rules of XtraClubs Marrickville in force from time to time.
The estimated value of the prize is AUD $2,441.40 (inclusive of GST), based on the standard recommended retail price at the date these Terms and Conditions were published. Actual value may vary and XtraClubs accepts no responsibility for any variation in value.
The winner is responsible for any tax consequences arising from accepting the prize and should seek independent financial advice.
Use of the facilities is at the winner’s own risk. The winner may be required to complete a health declaration and acknowledge the venue’s safety conditions before redeeming the prize.
8. Prize Redemption Period
The prize must be activated within 14 days of the winner being notified, after which the twelve (12) month membership period will commence.
The membership is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of activation. Unused entitlements expire at the end of that period and are not redeemable for cash or any other benefit.
9. Winner Selection and Notification
Judging will occur on or around 20 October 2026.
The winner will be notified via email and/or telephone on or before 30 October 2026 using the contact details provided with their entry.
The winner must respond and accept the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification.
If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, is ineligible, or declines the prize, XtraClubs reserves the right to select the next highest-ranked eligible entry.
The winner’s first name and suburb may be published at xtraclubs.au and/or XtraClubs social media channels on or around 30 October 2026.
9A. Prize Revocation
XtraClubs reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to withdraw, cancel or refuse redemption of the prize at any time if:
a) the winner is found to have breached these Terms and Conditions;
b) the winner engages in conduct that, in the reasonable opinion of XtraClubs, is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, violent, unsafe, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate;
c) the winner’s conduct has caused, or is reasonably likely to cause, reputational harm to XtraClubs, its directors, employees, contractors, members, partners or guests;
d) the winner is subject to a ban, suspension, membership termination or other restriction imposed by XtraClubs; or
e) XtraClubs reasonably believes the winner’s attendance may create a risk to the safety, wellbeing, enjoyment or comfort of other members or guests.
In such circumstances, XtraClubs may cancel the prize without compensation and may, at its discretion, award the prize to another eligible entrant.
The Promoter’s decision under this clause is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. Publicity and Use of Entries
By entering, entrants grant XtraClubs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish, reproduce, adapt and communicate their entry answer (in whole or in part) for the purposes of conducting, promoting and administering this and future competitions, without further reference, payment or compensation.
By accepting the prize, the winner consents to XtraClubs using the winner’s name, likeness, suburb and entry for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media, without further reference, payment or compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Marketing and Research Consent
By entering, entrants consent to:
a) XtraClubs collecting and using their entry responses for research, product development and business planning purposes;
b) receiving marketing communications from XtraClubs by email, SMS, telephone and other permitted channels; and
c) XtraClubs using de-identified entry responses for marketing, promotional and business purposes.
Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time in accordance with applicable laws.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with this promotion will be handled in accordance with XtraClubs’ Privacy Policy.
Information may be used for administering the competition, contacting entrants, marketing communications, business planning and other purposes reasonably connected with XtraClubs’ operations.
13. Disqualification
XtraClubs reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant who:
- Breaches these Terms and Conditions;
- Provides misleading information;
- Engages in fraudulent, dishonest or unfair conduct;
- Manipulates the entry process; or
- Attempts to gain an unfair advantage.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, XtraClubs excludes all liability for any loss, damage, injury, expense or claim arising out of or in connection with:
- The promotion;
- Participation in the competition;
- Acceptance or use of the prize, including use of the sauna, ice bath and steam facilities; or
- Any technical, administrative or communication issues affecting entry.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
15. Cancellation or Modification
XtraClubs reserves the right to amend, suspend, terminate or cancel this promotion at any time where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond its control or to protect the integrity of the promotion.
Any such decision will be published on the XtraClubs website.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
